Highlights from this edition:

The mystery behind Earth’s disappearing clouds ☁️
Some delicious plant-based recipes for your inspiration 🌮
Eco-Challenge of the month: Tackling single-use waste ♻️
No fluff, just action. Let’s dive in!
🗞️ In the news
🤯 Did you know? 55% of global GDP—roughly $58 trillion—moderately or highly depends on healthy ecosystems.
🌱 When nature thrives, economies thrive. But biodiversity loss is putting everything at risk.
⬇️ Yesterday (March 3rd) was World Wildlife Day, and this year’s focus is on funding biodiversity—because protecting nature means protecting our future.
🌮 What to eat
We have to start by addressing the elephant in the room! Meat’s massive carbon footprint:
🌍 38% of Earth’s land is used for agriculture.
🐄 77% of that land is dedicated to livestock (including feed crops).
💨 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions come from livestock.
Now that we’ve got that off our chest, let’s dive into some easy-to-make, healthy, and eco-friendly meals to get you inspired. 🍽️💚
♻️ Eco Tip
Awareness: 🚯 Most takeaway coffee cups can’t be recycled because they have a hidden plastic lining that makes them waterproof—but also difficult to process in recycling facilities.
Action: ☕ Many coffee shops started offering discounts when you bring your own reusable cup! Save money, cut waste, and sip sustainably. ♻️
🏆 Eco-Challenge
The Eco-Challenges are here to help us build real sustainable habits. Here’s how to make them stick:
✅ Commit – That little voice saying, "This won’t make a difference"? Ignore it. Instead, imagine millions of people adopting the same habits.
📝 Plan – Some challenges might feel like too much work at first, but with a little planning, they will easily fit into your daily routine.
🎯 Execute – Try it once. Then again. Before you know it, you’ve built a sustainable habit that sticks.
