💨 More than 2.6 trillion metric tons of carbon dioxide (GtCO₂) have been emitted into the atmosphere from fossil fuel combustion and land-use change since 1850.

🔥 January 2025 set a new record high and hit 1.75°C above the pre-industrial level.

If you’re looking to move the needle on your carbon footprint, eating more plant-based meals is one of the most impactful (and delicious) ways to do it.

💡 Plant-based meals can cut food emissions by up to 70%.

Awareness: 🪫 Every year, billions of disposable batteries end up in landfills, leaking toxic chemicals into soil and water. On top of that, mining materials like lithium and cobalt fuels deforestation, pollution, and human rights concerns.

Action: 🔋 Switching to rechargeable batteries can replace up to 1,000 single-use ones - cutting down waste, saving money, and easing pressure on the planet. Recycle old batteries properly, and keep an eye on emerging sustainable tech like sodium-ion alternatives.

We’ve hit pause on the Eco Challenge for now - engagement’s been a little quiet since we started, and that’s totally fair! 😅 We’ll bring it back once the community grows and there are more of us ready to take on the world, one small challenge at a time.
